About this policy

This policy explains how Synchronyx, LLC ("Synchronyx," "we," "us") handles information collected through our websites, synchronyx.com and tappthealth.com.

If you use Tappt as a patient, this policy does not apply to your Tappt account, your care plan, or anything you do in the Tappt app, web app, or program links. That information is covered by the Tappt Privacy Policy.

Cookies and analytics

Our websites use cookies for two purposes:

  • Necessary cookies make the site work, such as remembering your preferences and keeping the site secure.

  • Analytics cookies help us see which pages people visit and how they found us. We use Google Analytics and HubSpot.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may break parts of the site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on.

Our websites do not respond to Do Not Track browser signals.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run our websites and business tools, such as website hosting, analytics, email, and customer relationship management. We use Squarespace, HubSpot, and Google. They can use your information only to provide services to us.

When the law requires it, such as a valid court order, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

If our company changes ownership, information may transfer to the new owner.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with data brokers.

Marketing emails

If you sign up for our emails or request information, we may send you updates about Synchronyx, Tappt, events, and research. Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email privacy@synchronyx.com to be removed.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop replies to questions you asked us, or other messages we send for business reasons.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you

  • Get a copy of it

  • Correct it

  • Ask us to delete it

  • Opt out of marketing emails

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

To make a request, email privacy@synchronyx.com. We respond as applicable law requires, generally within 45 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request, and we may decline a request where the law allows.

We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

How long we keep information

We keep form submissions and contact information for as long as we have a business relationship with you or your organization, and as our legal obligations require. Marketing contacts are removed on request. Website analytics data that can be linked to an individual visitor is kept for up to 14 months. Aggregated reports that do not identify anyone may be kept longer.
